WALTHER PDP WRITERS EVENT

In September of 2020, Walther held the Walther PDP Writers Event to showcase the new pistol lineup. This was not a traditional Writers Event. It was held at The Site in Mount Carroll, Illinois. This was an intensive 2-day training course that allowed the 8 writers in attendance to receive some top tier training that included low-light and no-light exercises. Leading the training courses were the members of the recently formed Walther Defense Division. The purpose of this training was to allow the writers to put thousands of rounds through the newest member(s) of the Walther family, the Walther PDP.

AGUILA AMMUNITION supplied a ton of 9mm ammunition. Without them, this event could not have taken place.
C&G HOLSTERS came through CLUCH and was able to quickly create some of the finest IWB and OWB holsters we’ve seen in one of the quickest turnaround times possible.
LEUPOLD donated Delta Point Pro red dots, Switchback Eyepro & various swag.
SAFARILAND donated holsters with QUBL mounts, Low Profile Battle Belts, and magazine pouches for every attendee.
STEINER-OPTICS stepped up and lent us a number of extremely valuable AN/PVS-21 Night Vision kits, which, luckily, are waterproof.
SUREFIRE donated X300U-B Weaponlights for all in attendance.
THE SITE TRAINING CENTER allowed us to hold this 2-day intensive training event in their unbelievable facility.
VIKTOS donated a slew of gear for the attendees. In fact, they outfitted each person in an entire outfit, head to toe!
